Derek Lalonde Got Ejected From the Game
The incident that resulted in his ejection occurred in the middle of the second period, when Lalonde called a coaches challenge on a play that he thought was goalie interference. The play involved Jason Zucker from the Penguins, who attempted to push Alex Nedeljkovic, the goaltender for the Red Wings, out of the way after he froze the puck. This resulted in Nedeljkovic giving the puck up.
Lalonde called the challenge and after the play was reviewed, it was decided that the play was not goalie interference, this resulted in Lalonde going nuts and screaming profanities at the officials, he was ejected from the game due to his meltdown.
