Angry Oilers Fans Throw Trash on the Ice After OT Loss
Yesterday, the Oilers suffered a loss in the opening game of their series against the LA Kings. Alex Iafallo scored the winning goal in overtime, securing a crucial victory for the Kings in Edmonton.
The Oilers held a 2-0 lead entering the third period, but the Kings managed to score three goals in the final period, forcing overtime.
It's safe to say that Edmonton blew it in the third and the fans let them know they weren't happy.
They were far from pleased with their team's performance, and they didn't hesitate to show their discontent after the game.
Angry Oilers Fans Throw Trash on the Ice After OT Loss
Although such behavior is entirely inappropriate, it's easy to see why fans are upset. Connor McDavid, who had a phenomenal 153-point season, was unable to score in the game.
Here's hoping McDavid can bounce back in Game 2 and give the fans a reason to attend playoff games, where they pay a hefty price to support their team and, ideally, see them win.
