Connor McDavid accused of faking an injury after he's seen wakeboarding
Fans are calling out Connor McDavid after he was seen wakeboarding, just days after revealing he played the NHL playoffs with an abdominal injury.
Following their elimination in game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals to the Florida Panthers, Connor McDavid revealed that he played the entire NHL playoffs with an abdominal injury.
"McDavid has played through an abdominal injury that likely requires surgery."
Fans started questioning his injury after McDavid was spotted wakeboarding like a professional with his fiancee Lauren Kyle.

McDavid recently won the Conn Smythe trophy after totalling 42 points in the playoffs. It was during the Oilers' locker room clearout that McDavid's abdominal playoff injury was revealed.
As many know, wakeboarding requires very strong abdominal strength, therefore these videos showing McDavid on a wakeboard have led many to question how legit his injury actually was, and why it was even brought up if it just isn't true.

There is some good news in all of this. Regardless of whether McDavid faked the reports of his supposed injury or not, Oilers' fans can take consolation knowing that if McDavid is able to wakeboard like a pro, he will definitely have another 100 point-plus season.
