Unfortunate news is coming in regarding the Los Angeles Kings, and it will likely have major implications towards their crucial match-up against Edmonton later tonight.
Lizotte and Fiala Absent From Kings Lineup
As the Kings hit the ice in preparation for their incredibly important game against the Oilers, two familiar faces were missing. Later confirmed by Kings Head Coach Todd McLellan, forwards Kevin FIala and Blake Lizotte will miss tonight's action as the two try to recover from injuries.
This is incredibly disappointing news for Kings fans, who were counting on a big game from their key players as they face one of the best teams in the league. McLellan also confirmed that Gabe Vilardi will center the third line for L.A.
While Fiala has missed an extended period of time with his own injury, Lizotte's injury is new, and is reportedly concerning his lower-body. Hopefully the two can recover soon and make an impact for L.A!
