Montreal Canadiens sensation Cole Caufield underwent season ending surgery earlier this year, and was ruled out for an indefinite period of time. This was just added onto a massive list of injuries the Canadiens have suffered this season, and left many fans feeling hopeless. After a new string of injury announcements today, however, some good news was provided.
Caufield Returns to the Ice
The Canadiens provided some major updates regarding the rest of the season, and who wouldn't be playing. In the mix of season ending surgeries and rehabs, was some incredible news about the young Caufield.
It appears as though Caufield has been given the green light to return to on ice activities, as he continues to rehab his shoulder injury post-surgery. The right shot sniper has been sorely missed on a decimated Habs roster this season, and fans should be thrilled to see him back on the ice.
While fans shouldn't expect to see Caufield in a game before the seasons end, they can look forward to him being in the lineup next season, hopefully with a 100% healthy shoulder!
