WJC scandal member officially pleads not guilty
A new report from an NHL media member with inside knowledge of the situation has confirmed one of the players charged in the 2018 WJC scandal has plead not guilty.
Investigative reporter Rick Westhead today received a statement from the lawyer of NHLer Michael McLeod. According to the statement, McLeod has been charged and pled not guilty to those charges.

McLeod is the first player of the five directed to surrender who has officially confirmed being charged and pleading not guilty. Similar statements are expected from the other five players in the coming days.
