Bo Horvat Takes Massive Shot at the Canucks Live on Air
Bo Horvat being a New York Islander still feels very weird for Canucks fans. It appears, however, that Horvat got over it pretty quickly!
Horvat Takes Shot at Canucks on Air
Bo Horvat spent nine years as a Vancouver Canuck, and served as their captain after the retirement of Henrik Sedin.
As trade talks progressed, he continually expressed his desire to be a Canuck for life.
Two months after he was dealt to the New York Islanders for a first round pick, Anthony Beauvillier, and Aatu Raty, he definitely no longer feels the same way.
With two stellar performances this week, amassing five points in two games, Horvat was asked by a reporter how the energy in Long Island was.
Tongue firmly planted in cheek, Horvat responded:
«It's a lot better than Vancouver, I'll tell you that for free.»
That's got to be tough words to hear for Canucks fans!
However, we will have to wait and see how much Islanders fans love Bo Horvat as his $68-million dollar contract kicks in next season.
