BREAKING: Flyers fire Chuck Fletcher
The Philadelphia Flyers have had a disastrous season, and the sentiment has been that changes are coming. Per David Pagnotta, this will start with Chuck Fletcher.
Fletcher to be Fired
Chuck Fletcher is widely known to be one of the worst GMs in the league, especially as reports of his unprofessional tactics have come out.
This is a step in the right direction for a Flyers organization looking for an identity and a path forward.
A favourite to replace Fletcher is Danny Briere, who was in the running for the position as GM of the Montreal Canadiens as well in 2021-22.
We will see how this all unfolds, but it is likely just the first of many big moves for the struggling franchise.
