Controversial GM May Get the Job in Pittsburgh

As the hunt for the new Penguins GM continues, several names have been thrown around as to who could land the position. But one interesting name came upand it's a former Penguin.
Marc Bergevin
Per Elliotte Friedman's podcast, Marc Bergevin could be a candidate for the Penguins' GM job.
Bergevin, who previously played 20 seasons in the NHL, currently serves as the LA Kings' senior advisor to the GM. The former defenseman played on and off with the Penguins, tallying 4 goals and 17 assists over the course of 3 seasons.
Bergevin previously worked as the GM of the Montreal Canadiens from 2012-2021. During his tenure in Montreal, the Canadiens made 6 playoff appearances.
