Penguins prospect Filip Hallander signed a 5 year deal with the SHL's Timr IK, ending his second run with the Penguins.
Hallander made his NHL debut with the Penguins during the 2021-22 season, playing in only one game that year. He would play in two more games with the Penguins during the 2022-23 season, however failed to registered any points.
In 104 games with the Penguins minor league affiliate, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, Hallander scored 25 goals and registered 36 assists.
Hallander was set to become a restricted free agent this summer.
The Penguins re-acquired Hallander in a 2021 trade that saw Pittsburgh send Jared McCann to the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for Hallander and a 7th round pick.
