BREAKING: Tampa Bay Lightning Have Acquired Their Next Brandon Hagel
The Tampa Bay Lightning are some of the most aggressive traders in the league. When they want a player, they get him, and it appears they've found their target for this season.
Tanner Jeannot of the Nashville Predators is being held out of game tonight for trade-related reasons. A skilled, young power forward, Jeannot was a top-five name for the Calder trophy last season.
With a cap-hit of $800,000, Jeannot is similar to Brandon Hagel, who the Lightning paid big for last season.
In exchange for Jeannot, Tampa has traded a 2025 1st round pick (top-10 protected), Cal Foote, a 2024 2nd, a 2023 3rd, a 2023 4th, and a 2025 5th.
