Even the best championship winning cores come to an end. It looks like the end may be near for Jon Cooper with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Yesterday afternoon, the Lightning lost their fifth straight game with a 6-0 shutout to the Carolina Hurricanes.
The players clearly didn't get the message from their coach, as the Lightning only had four shots after two periods. There weren't even any shots in the second period. The team finished the game with only 14 shots.
It makes you wonder if this might be the end of Cooper with the Lightning, who has been coaching the team since 2013.
It remains to be seen if he will be able to get back to winning ways soon, as he seems to be losing his locker room little by little.
