Lightning and Golden Knights Combine for 146 PIMS in a Wild Game
Hockey is an emotional sport, and sometimes tensions can get out of hand. In a game between the Golden Knights and Lightning, things went a little crazy.
Lightning and Golden Knights Combine for 146 PIMS
It's not abnormal for a crazy game to have a fight, and maybe a game misconduct thrown in, as well as a couple of minors assessed. This makes the threshold for a crazy game to be about 30 combined PIMS.
The Golden Knights and Lightning multiplied that by five.
Several game misconducts in a scrum late in the third made this one of the craziest games we've ever seen. Ten players were ejected. The funniest part quite frankly is that no team got a major advantage as almost all of the penalties were coincidental.
I'm sure their coaches weren't too happy luckily none of those involved were in the Lady Byng discussion!
