The Toronto Maple Leafs have made another blockbuster trade, this time with the Chicago Blackhawks.
Maple Leafs Acquire McCabe and Lafferty
The Maple Leafs are truly going all in this year. They have acquired defenseman Jake McCabe and forward Sam Lafferty from the Chicago Blackhawks.
The Maple Leafs will acquire McCabe at 50% retained for the remainder of his contract, Sam Lafferty, and two conditional fifth-round picks.
The Blackhawks will acquire Toronto's conditional 2025 1st rounder, their 2026 2nd rounder, forward prospect Joey Anderson, and Pavel Gogolev.
