BREAKING: Massive Update For Matt Murray and the Maple Leafs
Matt Murray went down with a concussion on April 3rd. Now a month later, things are looking good.
Kallgren Sent Down to the Marlies
Erik Kallgren has been serving as an emergency option for the Maple Leafs. A new NHL rule allows teams to carry a third NHL goalie as EBUG in case of injury, and the Leafs logically took advantage.
With their series against the Florida Panthers days away, Kallgren has been sent down. This definitely seems to mean Matt Murray is healthy.
With the Panthers known for their gritty style, having three reliable NHL goalies will be huge.
This is amazing news for the Maple Leafs as they look to continue their run.
