Panthers Management Creates Shocking New Rule to Keep Leafs Fans out of Florida
Yesterday, by beating the Boston Bruins, the Florida Panthers confirmed that they will face the Toronto Maple Leafs in the second round.
Many Torontonians were probably already planning a trip to Florida to enjoy the weather and some good playoff hockey, but the Panthers' management had another thing in mind.
Panthers Management Creates Shocking New Rule to Keep Leafs' Fans out of Florida
In order to make sure that as few Leafs fans as possible go cheer on their team, the Panthers created a new rule that shocked many people.
"FLA Live Arena is located in Sunrise, Florida. Sales to this event will be restricted to residents of the United States. Residency will be based on credit card billing address. Orders by residents outside of the United States will be canceled without notice and refunds given."
Isn't it ironic that they have trouble selling out during the regular season, but now that it's the playoffs, they can't allow "outsiders" to come watch the game?
This rule has nonsense written all over it. We hope the NHL intervenes to rectify this injustice.
