Montreal Canadiens defenceman Arber Xhekaj is slowly but surely making his mark in the National Hockey League.
Here are some comments from two Toronto Maple Leafs players about him:
"He's a big guy who's not afraid to play physically and has shown he's not afraid of anyone."
- Michael Bunting "I have tremendous respect for what he has accomplished."
- Wayne Simmonds
Xhekaj gets involved, when he stands up, players listen to him and he regularly defends his teammates.
With the imminent departure of Joel Edmundson, could he inherit an "A" on his jersey, in an effort to support the current captain?
There is no doubt that Xhekaj is quite a leader and will get a letter on his jersey sooner or later.
