�Cookie', as he is known by his teammates, has a unique pre-game meal of several Oreo cookies.
Acciari Reveals How He Got His Nickname
As a member of the Florida Panthers, Acciari earned his nickname. When there were no cookies around at the pre-game meal, it appears Acciari threw a little fit:
There were no cookies at pre-game meal. I didn't throw a fit, but a little upset
Clearly he threw enough of a fit for Keith Yandle to notice, and tag him with the name for the rest of his career.
This is the type of hockey that makes everybody smile. Hopefully Cookie will win a Stanley Cup in Toronto!
