Auston Matthews Shares Thoughts on Kyle Dubas' Crazy Deadline Moves

Kyle Dubas has already made five trade deadline moves. In all of the frenzy, Auston Matthews spoke to the media about his take on these moves.

Matthews Shares Thoughts on Crazy Deadline

The goal for this season is no longer to win a round. With the team that's been assembled at this point, the goal has to be to win the Stanley Cup.
Auston Matthews has now shared his sentiment on these moves, and it's safe to say he supports the gamble Kyle Dubas is taking.
First, however, he had to be cognizant of how crazy yesterday afternoon was:
It's a bit of a whirlwind, obviously. Just a lot of moving parts right now. So, you just want to kind of take a breath & see what's going on. I still don't know everything, like all the details & stuff, because I feel like it just happened like 20 minutes ago

Then finally Matthews shared his excitement for the acquisition of Jake McCabe. McCabe was Matthews' teammate at the 2016 world championships.
He's going to give his all every game. A guy you want on your team & want to go to battle with. I'm really excited.

Not only is Kyle Dubas going all-in, it looks like his team will follow him into battle.
Even crazier, there are still two days before the deadline!
