Controversy emerges after crazy on-ice scene involving Ryan Reaves
Ryan Reaves finally got a chance to return in the Leafs' lineup over the weekend after a lenghty recovery and spending time with the extras.
He made to most out of it, scoring a goal in the game against the Winnipeg Jets.
However, another scene from that game is going viral, where Reaves isn't on his best light.
Controversy Emerges After Crazy Moment on the Ice Between Reaves and Jets' Star Player
With only a few minutes left in the third period, Ryan Reaves was involved in an altercation with an opponent. He went towards Jets' Nikolaj Ehlers and stayed close to him while shoving him with his stick and trying to get under his skin by talking to him.
On X, many people are criticizing the fact that Leafs fans like to see this from Reaves, but wouldn't like it at all to see Arber Xhekaj do this on Mitch Marner, for example.

What Reaves did wasn't that bad. He simply talked and followed him, whereas Ehlers tried to cross check him a few times.
We have trouble finding what is wrong here. We don't think Reaves crosses any line and even if another player did that on a Leafs' star, it wouldn't be the end of the world.
