Former Leafs player harshly criticizes Mitch Marner and the team
Today former Toronto Maple Leaf Jay Rosehill went on to a podcast to discuss last night's game. During his time talking about the Leafs he went on a rant about how pitiful the star players looked last night.
The Toronto Maple Leafs had a rough night during last night's matchup against the Boston Bruins. After falling behind in the game several Maple Leafs stars got into a shouting match on the bench. The Maple Leafs would go on to lose the game 3-1. This morning former Maple Leaf Jay Rosehill decided to lay into the team and their core.
Jay Rosehill talks about the bickering and lack of ability to push through adversity from star players. He then specifically hones in on Mitch Marner and lays into him for being entitled and for not paying attention to the smaller details.
.@Jay_D_Rosehill rips into Mitch Marner for being an entitled piece of s***.
He's 100% right.
This is a sentiment that seems to be shared by much of the Maple Leafs fan base today who are fed up with Mitch Marner's attitude and lack of production. The Maple Leafs now find themselves down 3-1 in the series against the Bruins and fighting for their lives. If they end up losing in Round 1 once again it could spell the end of Mitch Marner's time in Toronto.
