Jake McCabe Blows Up on Referees After Suffering Late Blindside Hit
Last night, the Toronto Maple Leafs faced the Dallas Stars and a major incident occured at the end of the second period.
Leafs' Defenseman McCabe Returns to the Bench with Blood on his Face After Dirty Hit by Dallas Stars' Marchment
It all started with less than a minute remaining in the second period. In a battle for the puck in the offensive zone, McCabe threw the puck away and received a violent hit from Mason Marchment after he had already gotten rid of the puck.
Here's how it went down:
McCabe wasn't happy at all when he got back to his bench and let the referee get a piece of his mind.

With blood all over his face, McCabe got back to his bench and didn't waste time before making sure the ref knew he made a mistake.

The Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe was also not very happy with the referees and he didn't hold back.
Fortunately, McCabe was able to stay in the game to help the Leafs get their first win since the All-Star Break.
