Maple Leafs plans for Tyler Bertuzzi and Max Domi revealed
Leafs general manager Brad Treliving made a few interesting additions over the offseason including Tyler Bertuzzi and Max Domi. However, with both players given one-year contracts, Treliving must now focus on re-signing them.
Brad Treliving signed Tyler Bertuzzi to a one-year deal last offseason. At first it appeared as though the deal would be a flop as Bertuzzi struggle to find his game in Toronto. However, he's been on fire recently, proving that Treliving was right to bring him in all along.

Last 15 games: 11 goals
What a turnaround. Is playoff Bert szn upon us? 👀

The Leafs winger is up to 18 goals in the season, which is somewhat remarkable considering how dreadful his beginning of the season was when it came to scoring goals.

Another one of Treliving's major offseason acquisitions was Max Domi. Domi has proven his worth both as a scorer and as a pest this season, introducing more physicality to his game by fighting. He has a career-high five fights this season, including one that he took with his father watching in the crowd.

Both Bertuzzi and Domi have gotten hot at the right time of the season as we head into the playoffs, making their case to be re-signed by Treliving over the summer.

Both playing their game to a tee right now
Domi is certainly more of a playmaker than a goal scorer while Bertuzzi can do a bit of both. They each have their merits as they form part of what is perhaps the Leafs' deepest forward core in years. As such, we should expect Brad Treliving to make his best effort to keep both players, although fitting both under the salary cap could prove to be difficult.

 41 points 35 points
 8 goals 16 goals
 33 assists 19 assists
If the Leafs can only keep one of them next year, who and why? #LeafsForever
