One of the Toronto Maple Leafs' new free agent signings certainly does not feel like a stranger with his new team.

Domi Lightens Interview With Funny Answers

In a recent interview that he had, new signing Max Domi was asked several questions consisting of where he thinks he will slot in in the Leafs lineup among other topics.

"We'll keep that between me and Keefer. Obviously, he's the coach, so whatever he asks me to do, I'll be fully prepared to do that, whether that's playing wing, center, I'm not necessarily great between the pipes - I think we're good there - but if he needed a goalie, I'd be down to do that too. Whatever he asks me to do, I'm going to do the best of my ability to be the best version of myself in that role."

Domi states that he is going to be the most flexible version of himself for his new and hopefully final team and how he will contribute to any help that head coach Sheldon Keefe needs.

League Experience Contribution

Throughout his career, Domi has been quite the journeyman. After being drafted by the Arizona Coyotes in 2013, he has made his way around the league with Montreal, Columbus, Carolina, Chicago, and Dallas.

With him now coming to Toronto looking to stay for an extended time, he will bring some valuable information to the table to benefit himself and his team.

"I've played for a lot of teams, which in some ways is hard. Obviously, moving around quite a bit, largely due to short-term contracts - but the positive of that is getting to play for a lot of different coaches.. I like to thing I've got a lot of experience in this league and I'm looking forward to just bringing that into this locker room and helping out in any way that I can."

The excitement continues to grow for Domi's debut in Toronto and Leafs fans should definitely be excited for him to touch the ice as part of the roster, as his gritty and playmaking skills will be a huge help.
