The Florida Panthers and Toronto Maple Leafs appear set for a round one showdown, and now Ryan Reaves is ready to set the tone.

Tuesday night marks the final game of the regular season for both the Toronto Maple Leafs and Florida Panthers, and if other results go a certain way, they will start the Stanley Cup Playoffs against each other. There's already a history and a rivalry between these two teams, so it's bound to be personal and physical regardless, but now, veteran Ryan Reaves has sent a warning to their opponents ahead of the game.

"You gotta set the tone for that series."

Ryan Reaves and the Maple Leafs, though shorthanded up front, are looking to make a statement against the Panthers in a likely Round 1 preview on Tuesday. (@lukefoxjukebox)

With physical threats like Nick Cousins on the other side, this one would be another thrilling series, but if Reaves can be at his devastating best, there's no doubting that Toronto could have the edge in a big way. Whether they meet in round one or two, this is the matchup that many NHL fans want to see, and with Reaves motivated ahead of the playoffs, look for Tuesday nights game to be just as intense as you'd expect for post-season hockey.
