The Plan For Ryan O'Reilly's Return is Officially in Motion
It was a tough blow for the Maple Leafs when top deadline acquisition Ryan O'Reilly went down with a broken finger.
The timeline for his return has been revealed.
Ryan O'Reilly's Return is in Motion
Recently starting to skate with the team again, Ryan O'Reilly looks almost fully recovered.
He will likely reintegrate into full team practice this week, as Sheldon Keefe has pledged to ramp up his recovery and have him play next week.
The Maple Leafs have been burned by injuries in the past few weeks, but everything's looking good for the team to be fully healthy come Game 1.
At their peak, it's hard to imagine many teams being able to win four against this group.
Hopefully Ryan O'Reilly can regain the momentum he had before the injury. If he does, he could very well be the piece that gets the Leafs past the first round hurdle.
