Toronto Maple Leafs' Morgan Rielly announces life-changing news with wife Tessa Virtue
Toronto Maple Leafs' Morgan Rielly and his wife Tessa Virtue have announced the birth of their son McCormick Rielly in an Instagram post.
This is the first child for the lovely couple. Morgan Rielly and his wife Tessa Virtue made the announcement back in May that they were expecting a child in a series of Instagram posts while they were on vacation at the start of the off-season.
The couple has already received thousands upon thousands of likes and comments on Instagram as fans have sent them all their best wishes and congratulations.
The images that can be seen on Instagram show both Tessa and Morgan alongside their newborn son, as well as a few of baby Rielly on his own.
Here we can see Morgan Rielly giving a kiss to his newborn son, in a picture that really warms the heart.
Morgan Rielly is 30 years old and Tessa Virtue is 35, and they both got married in 2023 and have remained very low-key in their relationship, avoiding public scrutiny. They are a fan-favourite couple due to the low drama they provide and always seem to be happy. Now that Rielly is a proud father, he may have extra pep in his step to improve on last year's season where he managed seven goals and 58 assists, not that those numbers were bad anyways.
