Playing junior hockey in Canada is a crucial step to the young career of a professional hockey player. It allows players to develop and take on roles they might not otherwise be able to if they step right into professional hockey.
Noah Chadwick saw the benefits of this after he was named the captain of the Lethbridge Hurricanes for the 2024-25 WHL season.
Noah Chadwick is one of the brightest defensive prospects in the Toronto Maple Leafs system. After being drafted in the 6th round of the 2023 NHL Draft Noah Chadwick returned to the WHL looking to take a major step.
During the 2023-24 WHL season Noah Chadwick took a big jump from 20 points to 56 points. He also was able to make his AHL debut playing one game for the Toronto Marlies.
Now Noah Chadwick will head back to the WHL for his 19-year-old season and look to dominate the game. If the 6'4 defenseman can continue improving his offensive game he could be one of the best in the WHL this season. As his season gets underway he will be one of the most interesting Maple Leafs prospects to keep your eyes on.
