Toronto Police Arrest Two of Marner's Carjackers
A few days after being eliminated in the first round of the playoffs for the sixth consecutive year, things somehow got worse for Mitch Marner.
During a night out with his fiancé, Marner was carjacked at gun-point. His Range Rover was stolen, thankfully Marner and his fiancé were not harmed.
Marner's Carjackers Arrested
10 months after the incident, the Toronto Police announced that 2 out of the 3 perpetrators involved in the carjacking were arrested.
They have also recovered Mitch Marner's Range Rover. The police arrested a 24-year-old from Brampton, and a 21-year-old from Toronto, the pair were connected in the carjacking of Marner's car and another carjacking a month prior.
While this incident has shaken up Mitch Marner, he has not allowed the incident to affect his game. He currently leads the team in points and assists with 79 points, and 56 assists.
