Nylander Shares Comments on Brother Alex's Recent Success
Where William Nylander has taken the NHL by storm this year, his brother Alex has been working to improve his game. While he didn't have that much success with the Pittsburgh Penguins this year, working into just 5 games with the club, he has had a streak of success since being traded.
Nylander was traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets at the deadline, and since has had 11 points in 11 games with the club. William has shared his thoughts on his brother's recent success.
Alex Nylander has eight goals and 11 points through 11 games since getting traded to Columbus.
William Nylander: "I'm a super proud brother. He's been battling his entire career and been given a really good chance to play and showing what he can do. I mean, super proud brother."
Alex Nylander Making Strides to Catch Brother William
William Nylander is having himself an incredible season this year and earned a much-deserved contract extension with the Leafs. He has 87 points in 66 games and is poised to reach 100 points for the first time in his career. While his younger brother still has a long way to go to catch up, he has an incredible role model to follow and mentor him along the way.
