Saturday night's game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Edmonton Oilers was intense, to say the least. Many goals were scored, but it was the feud between Michael Bunting and Evander Kane that stole the show.

In case you missed Kane's post game interview:

Bunting and Kane engaged in a brawl that led them to the front of the Oilers' net from halfway accross the ice. The feud didn't end there.

After the game, Kane made some insulting remarks towards Bunting via the media, which appeared to be a direct challenge to the Leafs forward.

Michael Bunting Answered To Evader Kane's Comments At His Expense

Despite being asked about Kane's offensive comments on Sunday, Bunting chose not to retaliate in a similar manner.

"I don't really care, to be honest. I'm not going to lose sleep over it. Yeah, just made a few comments, but I'm not really the type to bring it to the media. So, I'm just going to leave it at that."

It's disappointing to know that there are no more regular season games scheduled between the Leafs and the Oilers this season, which means that we won't get to see these two settle the score. Unless both teams manage to make a deep run in the Stanley Cup playoffs, we may never see the conclusion of this intense feud.
