Full-on brawl breaks out between the Sabres and the Capitals

The Washington Capitals lost a critical game tonight as they fell 4-2 to the Buffalo Sabres. However, chaos unfolded at the end of the game as a full-on line brawl broke out.

With Washington's playoff hopes still very much alive, tensions were high during tonight's game. The Sabres saw this as an opportunity to play spoiler while the Capitals need every point they can get, especially with Pittsburgh playing well. As such, those tensions boiled over in the dying moments of the match when it was clear Buffalo had won the game.

Multiple star players were involved in the scrum for both teams, including Tage Thompson, Max Pacioretty, and the notorious Tom Wilson.
