Today a New York Rangers rookie had an eventful first shift in the NHL. He not only made his debut during an outdoor game but immediately challenged an enforcer to a fight.
6-Foot-8 Monster Rookie Drops The Gloves With Veteran
Today's second act of the Stadium Series commenced between the New York Rangers and Islanders. The game started off fast with a quick goal. Off the ensuing draw, rookie Matt Rempe challenged Islanders enforcer Matt Martin to a fight.

Both sides would get a few good shots in before the fight got broken up. This would be an electric start to what has been an incredible game with the Islanders leading 4-2 in the second period.
