32 Thoughts star reportedly, shockingly relieved of his duties as broadcaster
The time has ended for Jeff Marek and Sportsnet, as the parent company Rogers has officially cut ties with him following the NHL entry draft last month.
Many sports fans were very concerned over the last month as Jeff Marek suddenly vanished after the NHL entry draft. There was no mention of where he went, or if he was safe.
The truth behind the disappearance has finally been revealed, and it appears as though Jeff Marek has been let go and will no longer be on Sportsnet or have his podcast.
Details are scarce but multiple sources tell me that for unconfirmed draft reasons, @JeffMarek will likely be no longer performing duties at Sportnet hockey. Details to follow. This would appear to include his podcast duties too.
Elliotte Friedman has been Marek's co-host for the last few years, where they were on the show 32 Thoughts the Podcast. Fans across Canada loved listening to both these men debate interesting topics in the world of sports.
That suddenly changed when panic and fear grew among the fans after Marek disappeared without a trace. People even began worrying for his safety. Sadly, it's confirmed that Marek has been let go.
Random question but wtf happened to Jeff Marek and why has he suddenly called off the face of the earth. They never did the wrap up 32 thoughts podcast. He hasn't been publicly heard from since the draft
Everyone is patiently waiting for the announcement as to why Marek was let go, but at least for now we know that he is alive and well. This sudden firing has shocked the sporting world that's for sure.
