Global News Calgary reporter Cami Kepke has a touching story about the Montreal Canadiens' new forward Sean Monahan.
The story dates back to 2019.
When TJ Brodie collapsed during a practice in 2019 and was taken to hospital, Monahan quickly left the ice to let Brodie's wife Amber know what was going on. She didn't return his call, so Monahan asked his wife to knock on Amber Brodie's door so she wouldn't know via social media.
The reporter adds this:
Monahan has given his heart, soul and health to the Flames.
Let's hope a fresh start can rejuvenate his career in the East.
Very touching story and it proves once again that he is a very good guy!
