He is compared by many experts to Carey Price, because of his calm style of play and confidence. Sebastian Cossa is ranked as the number 1 goalie in North America. According to some, he could be drafted in the first round and is considered a franchise goalie.
Last season with the Edmonton Oil Kings, the 6-foot-6, 212-pound young goaltender won 17 of 19 games and maintained an impressive goals-against average of 1.57 and a .941 save percentage.
In 2019-2020, Cossa earned a franchise record for most wins for a rookie with 21 games won.
