The Montreal Canadiens are expected to announce a near-complete rebuild in the coming weeks, according to player agent David Ettedgui, who was a columnist on 91.9 Sports for a spell.
Jeff Gorton and Kent Hughes, he claims, would not choose a reset like Marc Bergevin did in recent years.
This is what the tweet says in English:
''The CH will be rebuilding, I'm telling you today, it will not be a reset or a patching job. Get ready for a major change in the veteran core, it's going to go away and it's going to move from now until the draft in Montreal. I wouldn't be surprised if an announcement is made by the organization in the next few weeks. I have confidence in Kent and Jeff. Folks, be patient, it will be worth it.''
