According to Colorado Avalanche reporter Adrian Dater, forward Nazem Kadri, who missed a second consecutive practice due to a non-COVID illness, may have to sit out Game 1 of the series against the Nashville Predators.
The Ontario native has been one of the Avalanche's most dominant players this season, with 87 points in 71 games.
If Head Coach Jared Bednar is without his second centre, Alex Newhook will be promoted to the second line immediately.
To be continued.
