Journalist Kevin Kurz for The Athletic really wouldn't be surprised to see New York Islanders general manager Lou Lamoriello sign his former Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Mike Babcock.
Lamoriello is very conservative and is the type to hire coaches with NHL experience.
The reporter also noted that the GM wants someone who will push the players.
"I think with the group we have, they're aware that the new voice is necessary for us to be successful, in my opinion." - Lou Lamoriello
