As reported by Michael Russo, Minnesota Wild reporter for The Athletic, goaltender Cam Talbot will start Game 6 of the series against the St. Louis Blues. The Blues lead the series 3-2 and Minnesota is facing elimination.
So, bad news for Marc-Andre Fleury, who allowed four goals (on 31 shots) in the most recent game.
The 37-year-old Fleury is 9-2-0 in Minnesota this season, with a goals-against-average of 2.74 and a 0.910% save percentage.
Talbot, 34, is 32-12-4 in Minnesota this season with a goals-against-average of 2.76 and a 0.911% save percentage.
