The Buffalo Sabres caused a surprise by drafting forward Vinny Hinostroza.
In 19 games this season, Hinostroza, 28, is far from having a difficult season, with eight points.
The other player to be placed in the lineup is returning Habs' Michael McCarron, who has spent the last month on NHL assistance.
