Prior to the game, Montreal Canadiens interim head coach Martin St-Louis announced that young defenseman Jordan Harris would be left out.
Because Justin Barron was injured, he had to call up two defensemen.
Kale Clague and Chris Wideman participated in the game. Both had three points. Wasn't that a great night of work?
St. Louis was very happy with their work after the game.
"They had a really good game for the rest of us and it shows you that the internal competition it pushes the guys a little bit more. I think it makes us, the rest of us, a better team because of that." - Martin St. Louis
