Less than 24 hours after eliminating the Nashville Predators, the Carolina Hurricanes have rubbed some salt in the Preds' wounds via Twitter, releasing an absolutely savage tweet on Friday morning to bid Nashville a less-than-fond farewell.
The Canes took a photo from a few years back, depicting a trio of banners behind the Nashville Predators, prior to being raised to the rafters at Bridgestone Arena and photoshopped the text on the banners to recognize their own interpretation of the Preds' "highlights" from this year's first round series.
What a sensational troll-job by the Jerks here. While I'm certain that the Predators and their fans will probably find it in very poor taste, given how close the series actually was, I can't help but to snicker at how clever the idea truly was.
Hopefully the Canes don't believe in karma, because a tall task awaits them in round two in the form of the defending Stanley Cup Champions, the Tampa Bay Lightning.
