Alex Galchenyuk was recently picked up by the Arizona Coyotes after a stint with the Colorado Avalanche in 2022-23, but then, he was released after a shocking story about him was released.
A shocking incident
Following that contract, Galchenyuk, while intoxicated reportedly threatened to kill police officers after a hit-and-run arrest, and shortly after, the Coyotes unsurprisingly let him go.
Galchenyuk has come out and apologized for the event, checking himself into the NHL's rehab program after that, but it's safe to say he's going to be the centre of ridicule and criticism for some time yet.
Galchenyuk gets roasted
Recently, he was roasted by a surprise source, as the Kunin Red Star, a Chinese hockey team took their shot, saying that he's 'too tough for them' after a fan requested they sign him.
The veteran has 208 points in 654 career games, but with shots like this and the genuine concern of NHL teams following the disturbing incident, it's safe to say that he's not landing another job anytime soon.
