Connor McDavid got a special request from Alexander Ovechkin, who couldn't attend the All-Star celebrations bevause of a COVID-19 positive test.
Ovi reportedly asked McDavid to sign a stick for his son Sergei, a big McDavid fan. So he gave the young man the signed stick "To Ovi Jr.»
"Ovi asked me to. We were in Washington before the break and he asked me to sign a stick for him. Anytime Ovi asks for something, it gets done." - Connor McDavid
I love the respect all these hall of fame players have towards each other!
