Alexander Romanov Speaks His Mind About the Softness of Modern Hockey
Alexander Romanov has built himself a reputation as one of the most dynamic hitters in hockey. His speed and strength are a dangerous combo as he can create significant force on a hit. However, he knows the rules, and almost always hits within them.
After a hit on Kevin Hayes, Nicolas Deslauriers and Tony DeAngelo both dropped their gloves. Luckily Oliver Wahlstrom held them off.
Romanov was candid about his displeasure towards this reaction:
I don't know why guys doesn't like clean hits now.
Hockey has changed. Like 10 years, 15 years ago, like, it wasn't even [big] hit. That's hilarious, you know.
A lot of people share his sentiment � is he right, or does he just need to cool down a little bit on the ice?
