Carolina Hurricanes forward Jesperi Kotkaniemi had a very tough end to the season and playoffs. He had two goals in 14 playoff games, one less than goalie Igor Shesterkin.
KK had one goal in his last 33 games, a pace of three goals per 82 games. That was tough.
Today, we may have the explanation for his failure.
As DansLesCoulisses reports via Twitter, a photo of Kotkaniemi is circulating a lot currently on the web.
You can see the Finn with what looks like a splint on his right hand. So, was he playing injured?
