The Vancouver Canucks look very different than they did just two weeks ago. They fired their beloved head coach Bruce Boudreau, and then doubled down and traded their captain Bo Horvat to the New York Islanders.

However, if the sentiment wasn't clear already, these weren't the last of the big changes in Vancouver. Insiders indicate that three more big-name players are likely moving either before the deadline or in the off-season.

These players are Luke Schenn, Brock Boeser, and Thatcher Demko.

As for Schenn, the move will be pretty simple. The depth defender is on the tail-end of his career, makes an easily digestible $850-thousand, and will want some stability in a new city with a kid on the way in the coming weeks.

For Boeser, things become much more complicated. In a flat-cap league, flexibility is paramount. Boeser's $6.65-million cap-hit won't be easy for many teams to work around. One insider has revealed that the New Jersey Devils are a favourite for Boeser, and it is likely top-prospect Alexander Holtz would go the other way. The Devils would want the Canucks to retain as much as 30% of Boeser's salary, but it is a very feasible scenario.

For Demko, it will be a very big trade. One contender is Los Angeles, who are currently overpaying their tandem of Jonathan Quick and Cal Petersen. One of these players would inevitably be going back to Vancouver. Other teams like the Penguins, Sabres and Maple Leafs have been discussed, but it appears that the Kings are the frontrunners.

It is inevitable we see some Canucks change threads, the only question is, how soon, and how many?
