Colorado Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar was not very positive about Nathan MacKinnon, who had to leave yesterday's game against the Flyers after only eight minutes of play.
According to the team's head coach, the star forward will be out for the long term.
MacKinnon joins an already crowded injury list:

- Jean-Luc Foudy
- Evan Rodrigues
- Shane Bowers
- Gabriel Landeskog
- Darren Helm
- Valeri Nichushkin
In 23 games this season, MacKinnon has 34 points, including eight goals.
