The majority of Canucks fans have been calling for general manager Jim Benning to be fired, and it appears that the team might be looking to fully overhaul its management department.
Then, on Tuesday, TSN's Darren Dreger dropped an exciting rumour. «Canucks ownership is in ongoing talks with Henrik and Daniel Sedin about future positions within the organisation,» he revealed.
With the speculation of changes within the Vancouver Canucks, I'm told Canucks ownership is involved in ongoing discussions with Henrik and Daniel Sedin about potential roles within the organization. Darren Dreger (@DarrenDreger) May 18, 2021
Can you imagine the Twins returning to Vancouver? This will be the much-needed breath of fresh air for the Canucks as they prepare for the 2021-22 season!
The Sedin twins were originally selected by the Canucks with the second and third overall picks in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, and they would go on to play over 2600 games with the team, so it would only make sense for them to lead the way to a brighter future.
The Canucks finish their regular season against the Calgary Flames on Wednesday, and they are currently last in the North Division with a 22-28-4 record.
